Connecting Galaxy Z Fold 2 to TV - what you should keep in mind

If you want to present the pictures you took on vacation or at family celebrations with your smartphone to your friends and family, the display is often too small. Show your shots easily through the TV, because the Galaxy Z Fold 2 connects to it easily.

How to connect the Galaxy Z Fold 2 to your TV

While your Galaxy Z Fold 2 comes with a screen twice the size of ordinary smartphones, even this often proves to be far too small to present all your pictures and videos stored on the device in sufficient size. That's why pairing your Android device with your TV is a good alternative.
  • To transfer the display of your Galaxy Z Fold 2 and thus your pictures and videos to the TV, the device has a so-called "Samsung Screen Mirroring" feature. However, a Samsung Smart TV is required for this. Press the "Source" button on the remote control and navigate to "Screen Mirroring" in the menu that appears. Your Galaxy Z Fold 2, on the other hand, displays the "Smart View" function, which you simply activate and then select the TV.
  • If your TV is also WLAN-capable, then you have the option of using the Miracast function found on Android smartphones to couple your two devices with each other in this way.
  • Another useful alternative is offered by the so-called Chromecast from Google. Connect this to your TV using an HDMI cable and then pair the Galaxy Z Fold 2 with the TV, so that your phone display is now transferred to the big screen.
