FREE NOW Match: We explain the sharing service

The principle of FREE NOW is known to many people because of its past as myTaxi. With FREE NOW Match there is a special feature, which we introduce and explain in the following.

Shared cab, shared costs: FREE NOW Match offers a good savings opportunity.

Modern mobility should be more flexible, more efficient and above all more sustainable. FREE NOW Match is also intended to fulfill this task.

How FREE NOW Match

With the FREE NOW app, you can order a cab at a fixed price. FREE NOW Match does the same thing, but with a special feature:

• When you use Match, FREE NOW searches for other passengers who want to go from a similar starting point to a similar destination - at the same time, of course.
• This increases cab utilization, and since the fare is shared, passengers pay less.
• By booking through Match, you thus give the cab permission to pick up another passenger. However, if this is not found, you still pay only a reduced price.

With a little luck, you have the cab consequently for themselves alone, but do not have to pay the full price. Logically, there is no guarantee of this. It should be noted that FREE NOW Match is so far only available in Hamburg, the home of FREE NOW. Should the service prove successful, expansion to other cities is entirely possible.
