FREE NOW emerged from myTaxi in 2019; the focus on cab brokerage was thus obvious from the start. However, FREE NOW has grown rapidly and expanded its offering.

What is FREE NOW Ride?

The process for FREE NOW Ride is basically the same as for ordering a cab via FREE NOW.

• With Ride you also order a professional driver with car, but not a cab.
• Since it is regular cars without cab livery, you are more anonymous on the road.
• Payment is not by taximeter, but by fixed price per route. This is already calculated when ordering fix.
• Ride is not yet available in all FREE NOW cities, but currently only in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt and Dusseldorf.
• As there are significantly fewer ride drivers than cabs, it is possible that sometimes no driver is available for you. In this case, FREE NOW will send you a cab, for which you only have to pay the fixed price calculated by Ride.
