Uber Premium: All info on the ride service with specials

Since December 2019, Uber Premium has also arrived in Germany, although not everywhere yet. Read what premium features the service offers and what that means for costs.

More than a normal ride: Uber Premium focuses on expensive cars and individual service.

In the U.S. and other countries, Uber has long been firmly established. With Uber Premium, the market position is to be expanded even further.

Uber Premium: These are the special features

Uber Premium differs from the normal Uber service in the following points:

• When booking Uber Premium, you get vehicles in the upscale category, such as spacious models from Mercedes-Benz, Audi or Jaguar.
• Besides this, you can specify additional wishes when booking, for example, the temperature in the car or help with loading luggage.
• On average, rides with Uber Premium are about 60 percent more expensive than with UberX.

The service is thus aimed at customers with special demands. For most short trips in the city, the normal UberX is otherwise still sufficient.
