Factorio: Update to version 1.1 - the innovations at a glance

Although Factorio has been considered a cult game for years, the title only went into the official final version 1.0 in the summer of 2020. A few months later, the update to 1.1 followed, and we show what it included.

Progress: After the release of 1.0 in August 2020, version 1.1 followed about five months later .

Factorio 1.1: What's new?

Since version 1.1 there are the following new features in Factorio:

• You can navigate your spidertrons via waypoints.
• Many - though not all - blueprints can be rotated.
• The construction of assembly lines has been greatly improved.
• The train management is now much clearer. So you can see your trains just like the individual stations via GUI and can view and change the schedules there.

In addition, many bugs have been fixed, so the overall gaming experience should be more trouble-free and rounded. All official info on the stable 1.1 release can be found here.
