World of Warcraft: Legion - system requirements check

The system requirements for World of Warcraft: Legion are extremely relevant if you are thinking about getting the expansion. In order for everything to run smoothly, your computer should meet some requirements.

Once again, Blizzard is wowing WoW players with relatively low hardware requirements in WoW: Legion.

Blizzard is known for keeping the hardware requirements for World of Warcraft very low so that as many players as possible can enjoy the game. But is that also the case with the latest expansion WoW: Legion? Our look at the system requirements clears things up.

Good news: Even older PCs can cope with WoW: Legion

According to manufacturer Blizzard, the minimum system requirements for WoW: Legion are defined as follows:
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom X3 8750
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Hard drive space: 45 GB
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT, ATI Radeon HD 4850 or Intel HD Graphics 3000
Optimal systems are those that meet the following criteria:
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 2400 or AMD FX™ 4100
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Hard drive space: 45 GB
  • Graphics card: Intel Core i5 2400 or AMD FX 4100
Compared to most other top games today, Blizzard thus once again manages to keep the WoW: Legion system requirements extremely moderate. Even older computers can bring a smooth gaming experience to the monitor with reduced settings. The situation is similar for the operating system: Windows 10 with 64 bit is recommended, but WoW: Legion even runs smoothly under Windows XP.
