Satisfactory finally on Steam: All info on the release

The wait was worth it: Satisfactory is selling extremely well on Steam.

Satisfactory is still in Early Access, although that's hardly noticeable in the game. However, the release on Steam meant new crowds of players for Coffee Stain Studios.

Satisfactory: Long wait for Steam users

The release history of Satisfactory summarized:

• The playable Early Access version began back in March 2019 at Epic Games.
• Only more than a year later Satisfactory launched on Steam, on June 8, 2020.
• Interesting are the published sales figures: Both platforms together so far accessed a total of almost 1.4 million players.
• About one million buyers are accounted for by Epic Games, on Steam it is about 400,000.

Since Satisfactory on Steam, however, has only been available for a much shorter time, the numbers are even more impressive. And they show once again how important Steam is as a platform for indie developers as well. By the way, the choice makes no difference in terms of price: Both in the Epic Games Store and on Steam, the game costs 29.99 euros.
