Setting up Google Discover Widget

If you want to view the Google Discover Widget on your Android smartphone or tablet, it works either through the Google app or through the browser when you go to the Google website. If you own a Google Pixel Phone, a smartphone from the Google Nexus series or a Google Play Edition device, the news feed is embedded in the home screen.

1. The Discover Widget is usually already active by default. You can refine the selection of information via the Google app settings and device settings.
2. The widget generates the personalized information based on the recorded web and app activities.
3. Also activate the location history to receive location-based news. Additionally, you can share device information to further refine the news selection.

Customize newsfeed
