For various reasons, it may become necessary for you to reset the Huawei P30. For example, persistent errors can be fixed in this way. Since you thereby delete all data, you should think about a backup beforehand.

Before resetting your Huawei P30

When you reset your Huawei P30, you remove all content and settings in the process. This includes photos, contacts, passwords and much more. However, by backing up your data beforehand, you ensure that this content is not lost. Instead, you can restore the device from the backup after the reset, or you can transfer individual data, such as certain photos and your contacts, back to your Huawei.

Return to factory settings via menu

Once you have made the desired preparations for resetting your Huawei P30, you can choose from several methods to implement your plan. The easiest way to do it is via the menu.

1. First, call up the settings.
2. Navigate here to "System > Reset".
3. Now tap on "Reset phone" and confirm the request to delete your Huawei P30. Dafür müssen Sie Ihren Sperrcode eingeben.

Rettung für eingefrorene Geräte

Lässt sich Ihr Huawei nicht mehr richtig bedienen, dann können Sie das Zurücksetzen auch erzwingen.

1. Schalten Sie Ihr Huawei P30 aus.
2. Halten Sie nun gleichzeitig die Power- und die Lauter-Taste gedrückt. Lassen Sie erst los, wenn Sie ein Menü sehen, noch nicht aber beim Huawei-Logo.
3. Navigieren Sie mit den Lauter-Leiser-Tasten anschließend zu „wipe data/factory reset“.
4. Drücken Sie den Power-Button, um diese Auswahl zu bestätigen.
5. Nach dem Vorgang wählen Sie „reboot system now“. Das Gerät startet dann zurückgesetzt neu.
