WhatsApp: Create a poll - this option is available

Polls can help, for example, to decide on a date or to find out what others think about a specific topic. In WhatsApp, there is no built-in function to create a poll. However, it is possible to start a poll via an external app and insert it.

How to create a poll in WhatsApp

Since there is no integrated function in WhatsApp to create and evaluate polls, you need the Doodle app. You can download this for free in the App Store or Google Play Store.

1. Open the Doodle app on your smartphone and log in with Google, Facebook or via email.
2. Tap on the plus icon to create a poll.
3. Now you can choose a topic for the survey, for example, "Find a date".
4. In addition, you have the option to enter a title for the survey.
