Stickers for WhatsApp - how the emojis work

WhatsApp is one of the most popular chat services and is used by many people worldwide. The service is always delivering new features, including the sticker feature. This allows you to send small images instead of emojis.

How to use stickers in a WhatsApp chat

Some sticker sets are on your smartphone from the start in WhatsApp. However, you can always install new stickers to expand your supply.

1. Open a chat. It does not matter whether it is a single or a group chat.
2. Now tap on the emoji icon and then further on "Sticker". Now you have the option to choose a sticker from different sticker sets.
3. If you want to add another sticker set, tap on the small plus and then next to the corresponding sticker set on the arrow pointing down.
4. Once the green check mark appears, the download is complete and you can tap "Back" to switch back to the sticker set view.
