Syncing OneNote Notebook: How it works

OneNote allows you to create extensive notes, sort them, and various other features. If you want to have your notes available not only online, but also on all devices where OneNote is installed, you first need to turn on synchronization.

Syncing OneNote notes - it's that easy

Once syncing is turned on, you won't have to do anything else in the future. Notes are automatically synchronized in the background and are thus available anywhere at any time.

1. First you need to have OneNote installed on your computer and start the software.
2. Now click on the "File" tab and further select "Information".
3. There is the button "View synchronization status", about which a new window opens.
4. You will now see a comprehensive overview of all linked devices on which you are logged in with your Microsoft account.
5. By clicking on "Synchronize all", a synchronization takes place.
6. Ebenfalls oben im Fenster finden Sie die Option „Bei Änderung automatisch synchronisieren“.

OneNote Notizen von einem Gerät auf das andere übertragen

1. Sollte aus irgendeinem Grund die Synchronisation nicht funktionieren, können Sie Notizen auch von einem anderen Gerät aus einsehen.
2. Öffnen Sie Ihren Browser und wechseln Sie zu OneDrive.
3. Dort melden Sie sich mit Ihrem Microsoft-Konto an und suchen nun das gewünschte Notizbuch.
4. Online sind alle Notizen enthalten, die Sie auch auf dem Smartphone eingerichtet haben.
