Syncing iPhone X via WLAN: How to do it

After an initial setup, you can sync your iPhone X via WLAN with iTunes. This saves you from having to connect the smartphone to your PC via cable. iPhone and PC just need to be on the same network for this.

Syncing over Wi-Fi with iPhone X

Before you can conveniently sync your iPhone X wirelessly over Wi-Fi, set it up through iTunes. This is accomplished with the Lightning cable that came with your iPhone X. You connect the cable to the smartphone and a free USB port on your PC.

1. Plug the Lightning cable on the PC and on your smartphone.
2. Download free iTunes and install the software on your computer.
3. Then start iTunes.
4. On the top left you will now see your iPhone. If this is not the case, click the button and select your iPhone X.
