How driving a tank works in Battlefield 1
In Battlefield 1, you have several classes to choose from at the beginning. To drive a tank during the game, simply choose the special class offered in multiplayer mode and play it as a tank soldier. As a tank soldier, you are most dangerous in the tank, you can not only drive it, but also repair it while driving. Having decided to support your team as a tank soldier, it is important to follow some tips in dealing with the vehicle. Tanks in Battlefield 1 are particularly fast and can also drive through buildings and walls.- While tanks are protected against conventional weapons, this does not apply to stationary weapons and explosives.
- Therefore, teamwork also plays a big role when driving a tank. Make sure that every seat in the tank is occupied and every direction is covered, as this is the only way you can defend yourself against enemy attacks with explosives.
- As a tank driver, additionally pay close attention to your surroundings and mark enemies, enemy tanks, aircraft, infantry as well as cavalry.
- If you encounter an enemy tank, keep in mind that you as a driver yourself can only fight against it with the main gun.
