FIFA 21: What is the Weekend League? We explain it

The Weekend League is considered the most difficult competition in FUT mode. Of course, players are challenged again in FIFA 21 and if you don't know the format yet, you can find the explanation here.

Not just for weekend players: the Weekend League is definitely challenging.

The Weekend League can prove to be a tough place for beginners. However, players grow with the challenge and that's why the mode is so popular.

FIFA 21: How the Weekend League works

The Weekend League is structured as follows:
  • The Weekend League takes place on weekends and starts at 9am. It then runs for exactly three days.
  • During this time, you have to take as many wins as possible from 30 games.
  • Based on the result, you receive rewards.
  • The division of players is done by a ranking system: at the top are the top 200, then follow the groups Elite, Gold, Silver and Bronze, each with three sublevels.
  • In terms of rewards, there are coins, packs and player picks. The latter include the chance to get particularly strong cards from the Team of the Week.
The participation is not free, however: 2,000 FUT Champions points costs the entry per event. These points, in turn, you collect via the weekly rewards and per Division Rivals. In the Weekend League you can also get FUT Champions points; if you do well enough, your next participation is thus already financed.
