How to find and use the YouTube library

You can rate videos on YouTube with a thumbs up or thumbs down. What many users don't know is that all the videos you've rated with a thumbs up are saved in a separate list. You can view this in the app or in the browser.

What is YouTube library?

With the help of YouTube library you can find again interesting videos that you have not saved as a favorite or added to a playlist while watching. After all, YouTube doesn't forget anything and you can take advantage of that. The YouTube Library lists all the videos you've ever added a Like to. That's why the name of the playlist is "Videos I like". To access the library in the browser and on your mobile device, follow these steps:

• You can find the "Library" sub-item by clicking on the menu icon in the top left corner of the browser. Here you can see your playlists, among other things, and your video history is displayed.
• In the YouTube mobile app, you will also find the list under the name "Media Library". You can access this via your profile page. Wahlweise können Sie direkt die Mediathek öffnen.
• Klicken Sie in der Mediathek auf „Videos, die ich mag“ um die vollständige Liste anzuzeigen.
• Um ein Video aus der Liste zu entfernen, klicken Sie neben dem Video auf die drei Punkte und wählen Sie „Aus „Videos, die ich mag“ entfernen“ aus. Auf diese Weise behalten Sie stets die Kontrolle über Ihre YouTube-Bibliothek.
