Playing Minecraft without Java - this is how it's possible

For a long time, playing Minecraft on a PC required Java to be installed on the computer. However, since an update for the Minecraft client, this is no longer necessary, as Minecraft now has a built-in Java version.

1. If you are not yet using the latest Minecraft version on your PC, please first download the latest minecraft.exe file and save it.
2. Then run the exe file and wait until the installation is complete and Minecraft starts automatically.
3. Call your profile in the Minecraft Launcher, click on "Edit Profile" and set a check mark in the "Java Settings (Advanced)" area at "Executable".
4. Now still replace the existing path with the path under which you have previously saved the EXE file and apply the changes with "Save Profile".

How to remove Java from your PC

Have you installed and set up the latest update for Minecraft, you can simply remove the previously used Java client from the PC. Just like uninstalling any other program, deleting Java is also possible through the Control Panel. To do this, first open it and navigate to "Programs" > "Programs and Features". Look for the entry "Java" in the list there and start the uninstallation with a click on "Uninstall".
