Soccer games like FIFA live not least from the flair of real players and clubs. The licenses are therefore an important issue and with Juventus Torino there was already a special case in FIFA 20. Read how it looks in FIFA 21.

When Juventus Turin wasn't present under this name in FIFA 20, this didn't exactly cause joy among fans. Unfortunately, this continues unchanged in FIFA 21.

FIFA 21: Juventus Turin again not on board

Because while EA Sports was able to win most of the licenses for FIFA, there are also exceptions:

• Among them is Juventus Turin, one of the biggest clubs ever. The fact that superstar Cristiano Ronaldo plays there, adds to the status of the club.
• Consequently, Juventus can be found under the alternative name Piemonte Calcio in FIFA 21.
• The player squads, however, are represented with their real names. The exclusive rights only concern the club name as well as the logo and the stadium.

Juventus is not the only case of this kind in FIFA 21, by the way, because AS Rome is also not allowed to play under this name, but is called Roma FC. The Italian league is thus poorer by two prominent figureheads; FIFA gamblers who like realism will therefore focus on other clubs.
