Connecting Steam Link properly: how to do it

Through Steam Link, you can enjoy your games from Steam on any other screen. The small device is directly linked to your account and is able to stream games. However, in order for this to work, the device requires some basic setup.

In order for streaming of your games to work, Steam Link requires a stable internet connection. To do this, you can use one of the three included network cables.

1. Set up your console near the screen from which you want to stream afterwards.
2. Now take your console to hand and connect the network cable to the device and a free power outlet.
3. Now Steam Link can be put into operation.
4. A later switch to a WLAN connection is also possible.

How to set up the device

1. To be able to stream games to another screen now, you need to connect the console to the appropriate screen using an HDMI cable.
2. Start your computer and log in to your Steam account.
3. Go to the settings and enable "Home Streaming".
4. Connect the necessary peripherals to your Steam Link and launch the screen.
