Elden Ring: When is the release? Info on the potential mega-hit

Few development studios enjoy such a status in the gaming scene as FromSoftware from Japan. So it's no surprise that every new title makes gamers' hearts beat faster - and Elden Ring is no exception.

The next episode: Elden Ring takes over from Dark Souls.

With Bloodborne and the Souls series, FromSoftware has carved out a place for itself at the top of the market. Elden Ring is supposed to continue this story.

Elden Ring: Release in the first half of 2020?

Rumors and speculations about Elden Ring have been growing for quite some time. To prevent misunderstandings, here are the facts, which are now considered relatively certain:

• The game principle of Elden Ring should carry the essence of the Dark Souls series in itself - this is probably the crucial info from a gamer's point of view.
• Setting and game world were created together with George R. R. Martin, the author of "A Song of Ice and Fire" and "A Game of Thrones". So it will definitely be fantasy-heavy.
• The title will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
• The game world will not be complete, but partially open.
• Dynamic weather and day and night changes are included.
• There will also be multiplayer features, but more details are missing.
• As a release date, the scene currently assumes June 2020. However, this is not confirmed and generally postponements are more likely due to the current world situation in all areas.
