Email memory full - here's how to do it
Whatever your provider, once your email account's memory is full, you can no longer receive new emails. However, in most cases, in addition to deleting emails, you also have the option of archiving them. Here's how to proceed when your email memory is full.
This is how to proceed if the email memory is full
In order to be able to receive emails again, you need to clean up the memory of your account:- Delete: By removing unnecessary emails, you immediately create new space in your account. To do this, use the search filter to search for emails or sort all emails by specific criteria (for example, by size). This way you can see at a glance which emails you no longer need or which messages take up a particularly large amount of storage space.
- Archive: Many email providers offer the option of archiving emails in a cloud or directly on your PC. Especially for emails with large file attachments, it is advisable to archive them directly and remove them from the history.
