Connecting LG G8S to PC: How it works

The LG G8S can be easily connected to a PC. You can use the USB cable included with the purchase for this purpose. After connecting the cable to the smartphone and the PC, you still need to choose which action you want to perform.

Accessing LG G8S with PC

There are many reasons to access a smartphone with PC. In doing so, you can offload data from the smartphone to the PC and thus free up storage space. Photos and videos, in particular, consume large amounts of memory that may be missing elsewhere. Backing up your files to the PC is also a good idea. However, you can also move files from the PC to your smartphone, such as music or other audio files. If you do not take any action, the connection between PC and smartphone can also be used for charging. Remember, however, that this charging process is only about half as fast as that at a power outlet.

This is how you establish a connection

1. Take a USB cable to hand.
2. Connect the smartphone with the cable and plug the other end into your PC.
3. Unlock the G8S.
4. Pull down the notification bar.
5. You can now choose an action. Tap on "Load only" or on "Transfer media files".
