Renting e-scooters, for example from the provider Circ, is very popular in Germany. Before you use a scooter from Circ, however, you should find out about the costs involved in renting one. We give you an overview here.

These costs apply to a Circ scooter

Since the approval of e-scooters in Germany, various providers have established themselves where it is possible to rent a scooter. One of the largest providers in the field of e-scooter rental is Circ.

1. To rent a scooter from Circ, in addition to a basic price, there are additional costs that depend on the duration of use.
2. Depending on the location where you rent a scooter, between 15 and 20 cents per minute are due.
3. Now, however, you also have the option at Circ to book hourly packages. If you decide to book a 1-hour or 2-hour package, you will pay 6 euros and 9 euros respectively.
4. If you want to use the scooter for a full day, Circ also offers a 24-hour package, which currently costs 20 euros.

How booking a scooter at Circ works

In order to rent and use a scooter from Circ, you need the Circ app. This is available free of charge and can be downloaded from the App Store or the Google Play Store. Once you have installed the app on your smartphone and completed the required registration, search for available scooters near you on the map in the app. To start borrowing, it is now only necessary that you scan the QR code of the scooter to unlock it.
