HP: Delete print job - here's how

To print documents or photos with your HP printer, you must first create a print job on your computer or smartphone. If you want to delete the print job again, this can be done either directly on the printer or via device from which you sent the print job.

This is how you delete a print job on your HP printer

If you are using a printer from the manufacturer HP, you can delete a print job directly on the printer or on the device on which you created the print job. To cancel the current print job on the printer, please press the "Cancel Button" on it, which is indicated by an "X". If you have a printer model with an LCD display that shows the execution of the print job, please tap the "X" or "Exit" on the display instead.

HP: How to delete a print job on the PC or mobile device

If you want to delete a print job from the queue instead of the current print job, you can only do this on the device on which you created it.

1. If you are using a Windows PC, please click on the printer icon in the taskbar to open the print queue. Then right-click the job you want to delete and select "Cancel" from the context menu.
2. On Mac, to delete a print job, please click the printer icon in the dock first, and then click the print job you want to delete.
3. If the print job was sent from an Android mobile device, please swipe down from the top on its home screen to open the notification area and tap "Cancel" next to the print job.
