Printing with Pages - how to create a print job

The word processing program Pages from Apple is an alternative to Microsoft Word. If you want to print a document created in Pages, this works either via the navigation or conveniently via keyboard shortcut. In the print options, you also have the option to make further adjustments.

Pages: step by step to a finished print

If you want to print a text document in Pages, it works via the following steps:
  1. In Pages, open the document you want to print.
  2. Click on "File" in the top left navigation.
  3. Then select "Print" from the menu.
  4. The print options will now open, where the first thing you do is select the printer to use for printing.
  5. Customize the print options. For example, you have the option of "Copies" to set how many copies should be printed.
  6. Finally click on "Print".
You can also start a print job via the key combination [CMD] + [P].

Print envelopes

You can also print envelopes via Pages, but you have to proceed a little differently than with a normal text document.
  1. Create a new document in Pages
  2. Select "Stationery" in the template selection and scroll down to "Envelopes". Search there by double-clicking the appropriate template.
  3. Then click in the sidebar on "Document" and select there in the section "Printer & Paper Size" the appropriate envelope size.
  4. In the placeholder texts you can insert the recipient and sender address.
  5. About "File" and then "Print" start the print job.
