Monster Hunter: World: PC Release - all info

The name Monster Hunter has been known in Japan for years and has now reached cult status. In Germany, too, the series is becoming increasingly well-known. Alone with the release on August 09, 2018, the fan community around Monster Hunter has once again greatly increased. Also in 2021, a new part should appear.

Monster Hunter - World could be one of the early highlights of the gaming year 2018.

Monster Hunter: World: PC Release

For Xbox One and PlayStation 4 appeared Monster Hunter: World already on December 22, 2017. The PC version came out more than half a year later on August 09, 2018. Since then, another part has been released and there is still another to follow.

• On January 09, 2019, the addon "Iceborn" for Monster Hunter World was released. A total of 48 GB of content had to be downloaded for it.
• Since it is a full-fledged addon, this cost another 40 euros and in the deluxe variant 50 euros.
• The PC version of Monster Hunter World was released later because of the matchmaking. Because on the consoles, the matchmaking is automatically taken over by the platforms (Xbox Live and PSN). On the PC, an independent, new solution must be made and that requires increased effort.
• There are also the resources of the development team: first, the console versions should be fine-tuned before the PC version gets its final edit.

Capcom therefore does not want to do things by halves and therefore sets priorities. After all, the Japanese promise a flawless product as a result, which leaves nothing to be desired. On March 26, 2021, the next part of the series Monster Hunter Rise should already be released.
