WoW Shadowlands: These riding skills exist

On foot is not the fastest way to get around in World of Warcraft - this is more true now than ever. Our guide shows what levels of riding skill exist in Shadowlands and what changes have been made.

Faster, faster - and even faster: In Shadowlands there are four levels of the riding skill.

Because still in Battle for Azeroth there were a total of five levels of the riding skill. With Shadowlands, one level was removed, consequently there are only four since then.

WoW Shadowlands: The riding skill

The four levels of the riding skill look like this:

• In order to ride a mount with a speed increase of 60 percent at all, "Inexperienced riding" is first necessary. This is possible from level 10 for free.
• With "Skilled Riding" you can also ride the faster ground mounts with 100 percent bonus. Possible is this from level 20 for 50 gold.
• "Experienced riding" is possible from level 30 and costs 250 gold. You can fly on flight mounts and a bonus of 150 percent.
• With "Masterful Riding" (for 4,000 gold) from level 40, you may fly on flight mounts with a speed bonus of 310 percent.
