Amazon Fresh: costs and info on the delivery service

Already with Amazon Pantry, the shopping giant has found its way into German households. Amazon Fresh is now to be the next step, with the shipping service provider sending you fresh groceries. It's no secret that Amazon also wants to compete against supermarkets in the long run.

Amazon Fresh: Costs in addition to Prime fees

If you have not used Amazon Fresh so far, you can get to the service in the following way:

1. Visit the Fresh home page.
2. Enter your zip code.

Thereupon you can see whether Amazon Fresh is even available in your area. Since the service is not yet widespread, currently only residents of Berlin, Hamburg, Potsdam and Munich are eligible. However, it can be assumed that Amazon Fresh will soon be available in many other major cities.

• As is usual with Amazon, the Fresh products are mainly well received on price. This means: you get well-known brand products on average a good deal cheaper than in the well-known supermarkets.
• Covers the full range of fresh food, so also vegetables, fruit, meat, fish and Co.
• On the costs: Amazon Fresh is only available for Prime customers. In addition to the Prime fee, Fresh costs another 3.99 euros per order. This is free shipping from a value of 80 euros.

Through the low additional costs, it offers itself to do even large purchases via Amazon. After all, even then you do not have to leave the apartment to get fresh food, and for many customers this is a convincing argument.
