Football Manager 2020 was advertised as a draw for Google Stadia in its day. As the title was suitably well received on Google's cloud platform, the way seemed paved for its successor.

Probably no cloud: There is still no news about FM 2021 for Stadia.

However, this topic still causes question marks and also displeasure. Because even months after the normal release of Football Manager 2021 there is no info about a Stadia launch.

Football Manager 2021: All signs speak against Stadia release

Normally, upcoming Stadia titles are announced in time. When this was not the case with Football Manager 2021, fans did not yet see this as a reason for concern.

• In the meantime, however, the mood has changed: Especially the fact that there is no info at all about FM 2021 on Stadia, neither from SI Games nor Google, is taken as bad communication.
• More so, even the successful predecessor was removed from the Stadia range in December 2020.

The reason given was expiring licenses, which did not satisfy many fans. The fact that FM 2020 ran very well on Stadia makes this development even less understandable. And since there is currently no reason to believe in a Stadia release of FM 2021, the community is quite sensitive about this issue. If any communication on the subject remains absent, nothing will change.
