Screenshot without print key - how it works
Usually, a screenshot is taken on a Windows PC by pressing the [Print] key. However, many notebooks and laptops do not have this button. In this case, Windows still gives you the option to take a screenshot without using third-party software.
Creating screenshots with the snipping tool
The snipping tool is available by default in Windows. The software allows you to take a screenshot of a specific area.- Press the [Windows] key and type "Snipping" in the search box that appears. Confirm your search using the [Enter] key.
- If your search is successful, the tool will be displayed and you can run it by left-clicking.
- Now a small window will be available. Via a click on "New" you select an option through which the screenshot should be made.
- As needed, use the tool to save a specific area on your screen.
- After making the screenshot, you will see a preview within the window, which you then save to any location on your hard drive.
- Untersuchen Sie Ihre [F]-Tasten.
