Qwant Lite was released in 2015 and has a very specific area of use:

• As the homepage already shows, there are hardly any elements next to the search input.
• The greatly reduced design is intended to conserve resources. Because Qwant Lite is aimed specifically at users of older computers and / or browsers. These should still be able to search quickly and smoothly with the Lite search engine.
• That's why old versions of operating systems and browsers are also supported, such as Firefox in version 3 or Android 4.0 (and lower).
