What is Qwant? We introduce the secure search engine

Qwant originates from France and has been online since 2013. Since the beginning of 2014, the German-language version also exists and at the latest since then, the search engine is not completely unknown in this country.

• Qwant does not collect any personal data. With this feature, Qwant falls into the class of secure, anonymous search engines such as DuckDuckGo or Startpage.
• On the home page, it is already noticeable that Qwant differs in design from most other search engines. In addition to various colorful elements, categories such as news and other suggestions are summarized under the search box.
• If you perform a search, you will see the results in the familiar format - clarity is ultimately a priority.
• The various search categories such as "images" or "videos" can be found on the left.

In the application is thus no long acclimation necessary. In the quality of the search results Qwant can keep up with the competition; nevertheless, the access numbers are drastically smaller than Google or even Bing.
