Slack: Emojis - how to add them to your workspace

Slack is a platform where you can communicate with each other inside and outside a company and take advantage of various other features. To lighten up your chat flow a bit in the process, you can also find various emojis.

How to use emojis in Slack

On the Slack platform, you can find a variety of emojis. In addition to custom emojis, there are also emoji packs available that you can add to your workspace with just a few clicks.

1. First, open the Slack platform.
2. There you call the menu for emojis in the chat area by clicking on the icon with the smiley.
3. Now select the desired emoji and then click on "Add Emoji".
4. Now go to "Upload Image" and select a file.
5. Then assign a name for the selected emoji under "Give it a name".
6. With "Save" you confirm the process and complete it.

How to add an emoji package

A colorful selection of emojis is available to you with an emoji package in Slack.

4. Jetzt haben Sie die Möglichkeit, zwischen verschiedenen Paketen zu wählen. Suchen Sie sich das für Sie passende aus und klicken Sie es an.
5. Nun bestätigen Sie Ihre Auswahl mit „Paket hinzufügen“.
