It's hard to imagine social networks and messenger apps like WhatsApp or Snapchat without emojis. At the same time, their use is not limited to the existing emojis. If you would like to create emojis yourself, we will show you how in this tutorial.

Even though there are already more than 1,000 different emojis, many users want to design their own. This is also easily possible thanks to various online tools. For both Android and iOS devices, the app "Bitmoji" is suitable. To use Bitmoji, however, the installation of Snapchat is additionally required. To create a new emoji, please launch Bitmoji and tap "Log in with Snapchat" to log in. After that, you can directly start to design an avatar and set characteristics such as gender, look, face shape or hair. Once you have finished creating the emoji, you can send it via Snapchat, iMessage or WhatsApp.

How to create emojis on iOS yourself

To make an emoji from your own photos, the app "EmojiFace Classic" is suitable, but it is only available for iOS devices.

1. To use EmojiFace Classic, first install the app on your iPhone or iPad and open it.

4. Stellen Sie das bearbeite Motiv abschließend noch frei und entscheiden Sie sich für eine Emoji-Variante, um diese herunterzuladen oder zu verschicken.
