Samsung Galaxy A90: Rotate the screen - this is how it works

The Samsung Galaxy A90 can be used in landscape and portrait mode. However, for the switch to work by rotating the screen, the corresponding function must be set up on the device. We show you how to activate it.

Rotate screen: How to enable the function on the Samsung Galaxy A90

If you use your Samsung Galaxy A90 to watch videos or play games, it is often necessary to rotate the device's screen for a better display. This is easily possible on the new Samsung smartphone, as you can use it in both portrait and landscape mode.
  1. By default, the screen rotation feature is already enabled on the Samsung Galaxy A90 and can be used by simply rotating the device.
  2. If the "rotate screen" feature is disabled on your device, it is possible to re-enable it via the status bar.
  3. Open the status bar by swiping down from the upper edge of the display.
  4. Tap on the "portrait icon" and then on "rotate screen" to turn on the function.
If you have activated the "rotate screen" function, you can view files, apps and websites in portrait and landscape mode. However, this does not apply to the home screen, which is always displayed in portrait mode by default. To activate the rotation for the home screen as well, first press and hold an empty spot on the Samsung Galaxy A90's home screen. In the options window that opens, tap on "Start page settings" and select "Rotate to landscape format".
