To make it work, you need to set up the function.To be able to make phone calls via Alexa, you need to make some settings in the app:- First, make sure you have the latest version of the Alexa app installed on your smartphone.
- Now open the Alexa app and tap on the speech bubble.
- Follow the instructions in the app to set up the phone call. Read the steps carefully as you do so.
- Confirm your phone number finally.
- Allow Alexa to import your smartphone's contacts.
- Now switch back to the app's home screen. Open "General."
- Tap then on "Drop In." Determine here whether "Only my household" can call you or any user from your contact list who also uses the Alexa app.
