Increase font size (keyboard shortcut) - how to do it

The font size is usually preset in applications and devices. However, if this is too small for you, then you can adjust the font as you wish. Depending on the operating system, there are different options available to you for this. In most cases, there is also a suitable key combination.

How to increase the font size using a key combination

Normally, you cannot directly change the font size within applications or your browser. However, it is possible to adjust those of the UI of your operating system, such as Windows 10. Usually, there is a corresponding option for this in the settings, which allows you to adjust the size of your font according to your needs. However, if you want to change it quickly, then a suitable key combination can help.

1. In Windows 10, you can increase the size of the display font using the key combination "Ctrl" + "+". With "Ctrl" + "-" it can be made smaller again. Note that this is not possible, for example, if you are directly in an application such as Word. Here you have the possibility to enlarge or reduce the display via "Ctrl" + "Mouse wheel".
