Word: keyboard shortcut special characters - these exist

In Word you can choose from a variety of special characters. These are suitable, for example, for adding certain symbols to your text. To avoid having to search for them in the special character table, there are special keyboard shortcuts for this purpose.

If you want to insert several special characters into your document, it proves to be inconvenient to open the character table again and again, to search for the desired special character and then to insert it. This can be done more efficiently with keyboard shortcuts. With these you can insert characters quickly and easily at the desired position via shortcut. All you need is an extra numeric keypad on your keyboard, which you use to type in the respective numbers.
