Facebook: Merge pages - here's how

On Facebook you can run diverse pages at the same time. These can have different, but also similar topics to the content. If you want to merge two pages on Facebook, this is possible under certain conditions. For example, you must be an administrator on both pages.

How to merge two Facebook pages

If you want to merge two pages on Facebook, it is only possible if you are the administrator of both pages. Also, both pages must have a similar name and the same theme. If both pages have a real location entered, this must also match. Note that merging will delete all previous posts, images, etc. from one page. Also, there will be no automatic redirection from the old page to the new one.

1. First, switch to the "facebook.com/pages/merge" page with your browser and select the two pages you want to merge there. Fill out the form with the appropriate information and follow the instructions.
2. If the above solution does not work, then you can also merge the pages via the settings.
3. To do this, click on "Settings" at the top right and then select "Merge pages" under "General".
4. Then click on "Merge duplicate pages". You may only see this option if Facebook detects two similarly named pages.
