What is the 1&1 HomeServer Speed? The current status

The Homeserver Speed is a model that you can select as a router when signing a contract with 1&1. The Homeserver Speed thereby represents an apparently improved form of the regular HomeServer, but where exactly are the differences? We explain where the advantages are.

What is the 1&1 HomeServer Speed? You need to know

There are some striking differences between the individual router models, which can be categorized into advantages and disadvantages depending on the desired application.
  1. The HomeServer Speed is ideal for when you want to use many devices at once in your network.
  2. The router transmits in parallel on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, which covers a wide frequency and prevents interference.
  3. You can thus use your WLAN even in densely populated areas without hesitation.
  4. In addition, you can connect various devices via USB to the router and therefore use them as storage media or even for remote control.

Does the router worth it?

  1. The HomeServer Speed offers a higher WLAN range as well as a better speed compared to the weaker models.
