Rust: How to fly the minicopter - all the basics explained

The minicopter is one of the fastest and most practical means of transportation in Rust. However, operating it can be a challenge. With our tips, you'll be ready for a safe first flight.

Minicopter flight in Rust: So everything goes well

First you need to supply the minicopter with fuel. The consumption is 30 units of single fuel per minute. Then get into the pilot seat and proceed as follows:

• Use "W" to get the rotor moving. It takes a few seconds until the minicopter takes off and gains altitude.
• To sink, on the other hand, press "S".
• With "A" and "D" you steer by tail rudder to the left and right.
• With the mouse you determine the movement: If you lead the mouse forward, the minicopter tilts and flies forward. Analogously, you fly backwards if you drag the mouse backwards.
• In addition, you can perform roll movements and instabilities by mouse or correct or compensate.
• By holding down "Ctrl" on the ground, you drive with the minicopter.

Special mouse guidance requires a little dexterity. This requires practice and experience, but thanks to the steep learning curve, you will soon be flying confidently over the map of Rust.
