iPhone doesn't play videos - what helps

How to proceed if your iPhone stops playing videos

The following procedures will help if your iPhone stops playing videos:

• Restart your iPhone. Sometimes you can fix such sudden error with a reboot.
• For recorded or downloaded videos, check if the video has the correct format. For example, to play a video on your Apple device without problems, it should be in MOV, M4V or MP4 format.
• If this is not the case, you have two options. Convert the video to the correct format on your computer. To do this, you can either use iTunes or other free programs like Freemake Video Converter.
• Alternatively, you can also try another media player on your iPhone. Possibly this can play the video without problems.
