Discord: Change language - how to set it

To change the language of Discord's user interface, all you need is some time. It is especially helpful that the VoIP client offers you a wide range of languages that are pre-installed. This allows you to easily select the language you need.

How to change the language

Changing the language in the VoIP program is not complex and can be realized within a short time.

1. First you need to start Discord on your computer and view the main menu.
2. On the main page, you will find a gear icon in the lower left area, click on it. Now the settings of Discord will open.
3. On the left you will find the button through which you can select the languages. Click on it.
4. A new window will open where you can see all the languages that are currently supported by Discord.
5. Left click to select the language you want, and Discord will directly implement your command.
6. Once you return to the main menu, you will see that Discord has implemented the language you selected.

Can more languages be downloaded?

The VoIP client offers a wide range of languages to choose from. Among them are the most common languages, which is why the program can be used in a versatile way. However, there are still languages that are not supported by Discord. Currently, you also don't have the possibility to add additional languages through an add-on. Due to this, you will have to wait until Discord offers more languages through an update.
