With Lufthansa Cargo you can send your parcels by plane. So that you always know where your package is during transport, Lufthansa Cargo offers you a tracking service. We explain how to use it in our article.

Lufthansa Cargo is a German airline that specializes in transporting goods worldwide. If you have packages that need to be shipped as quickly as possible, you have the option online to book a seat on the transport plane. If your package is on the way, it is also possible to use the tracking function online, so that you know exactly where your goods are at the moment.

1. To track your package online, please call up the Lufthansa Cargo website in the browser.
2. In the menu there, then click on "Tracking" and look for the field "AWB number".
3. Enter the 8-digit AWB number of your shipped package in this and confirm by clicking "Search".

Lufthansa Cargo: How to use real-time tracking

If you often send packages with Lufthansa Cargo, there is a second method of tracking. This is called Realtime Tracking and uses the GSM network to always record the location of the shipment with pinpoint accuracy. To use real-time tracking, however, you need a special tracking device, which you can order online. Please note that there is a minimum purchase of 20 devices. If you have the right tracker, please press its red button, register the AWS number online and then put the tracker in the package. As soon as the package is on its way, you can track it via the Lufthansa tracking portal.
