The Sims 4: Moving made easy - here's how it works

If everything goes well, your Sims will soon be able to afford a bigger property or maybe even a fancy house. Then the time has come to move and our guide shows how.

Moving to a larger property is possible at any time, as long as the money is available.

Moving in The Sims 4 is less stressful than in real life. You should take advantage of this to quickly upgrade your lifestyle.

The Sims 4: Moving with or without furniture possible

A move is done with the following steps:

1. Call up "Manage Worlds" in the top right menu.
2. Then select "Manage Households" (top right) and choose the family that should move.
3. Then click on the icon with the car in the bottom right. This stands for "Move household to a property".
4. Select the property to which the household should move.
5. Decide whether you want to take all the furniture with you or sell it.

If your Sims have a computer, you can use the option "Let household move" there under "Household". This will lead to the same destination, which is the world or area view, where you can choose the new property.
