Buying Amazon Echo - What you should consider

Amazon has been selling its smart assistant in the U.S. since 2015, and it came to Germany just under a year later. Since then, however, the choice has not become easier. There are now also the Echo Dot, the Echo Plus and two devices with a display.

What to consider when buying an Amazon Echo?

Amazon's devices work via voice control. They not only answer your questions, but also take commands. Meanwhile, there are different versions of the Amazon Echo. The normal Echo has a built-in speaker, through which you can listen to music. This feature is missing on the Echo Dot. However, you can connect this to your normal speakers and it is already available in the fourth generation. Furthermore, there is the Amazon Echo Studio, which gives you the option to adjust the equalizer. With the latest Amazon Echo Show, you also get a smart display with motion function.

How to order the Amazon Echo

1. Open your browser and navigate to the Amazon website.
2. Enter "Echo" and, if necessary, the exact device name in the search bar on Amazon.
3. Select the desired color and click "Add to Cart".
4. Wechseln Sie anschließend mit einem Klick auf „Zur Kasse gehen“ zum Bestellabschluss.
5. Erstellen Sie nun ein Amazon-Konto oder loggen Sie sich in Ihr bestehendes Konto ein.
6. Geben Sie Ihre Zahlungsinformationen sowie die Lieferadresse ein und schließen Sie die Bestellung ab.
7. Ihr Amazon Echo sollte in den nächsten Tagen per Post zu Ihnen geliefert werden.
