Netflix: No connection - what's the cause?

Practically all services that claim an internet connection may give the error message "No connection". This means your smartphone or computer cannot communicate with Netflix over the Internet.

Troubleshooting if Netflix has no connection

If you have no connection to Netflix, you should first try to access any other website via WLAN. If this is unsuccessful, you have no internet connection. Restart your router to fix the problem. If this does not help, call your Internet service provider.If you have an Internet connection to other sites, proceed as follows:
  1. Call up this Netflix website. If the Netflix servers are down, you can only wait until Netflix has fixed the problem itself.
  2. If the servers are running smoothly, log out of Netflix and restart the device. It does not matter whether you want to use Netflix on the PC, a console, a smartphone or on a smart TV.
  3. Now log back in.
  4. If the problem persists, contact Netflix customer service.
