Firefox: Turn off push notifications - here's how

Push notifications allow websites to notify you about new content. If you don't want that, we'll show you how to disable notifications in Mozilla Firefox.

No need for push notifications? In Firefox, you can put a stop to it.

Push notifications are meant to be a handy tool; however, that doesn't mean every user will feel like it. Firefox users get the solution below.

Mozilla Firefox: How to turn off push notifications

The following steps are necessary:
  1. Open Firefox's "Settings"
  2. Select "Privacy & Security", then "Permissions" and then "Notifications".
  3. Under "Settings" you will find the option you are looking for: enable "Block new requests to show notifications" by ticking it.
  4. Complete the process by clicking "Save changes".
After that you should not get any push notifications anymore, as the feature is now blocked.
