The Burning Crusade Classic: Raids at a glance

The ranking in World of Warcraft has always been clearly defined: Dungeons are the entry point, Raids the real challenges. Read what raids there will be in The Burning Crusade Classic.

Enough to do: In TBC Classic, there is by no means a lack of challenging raids.

With TBC Classic, the nostalgic journey into WoW's past goes one step further. For many players, the raids are of particular interest.

The Burning Crusade Classic: Raids clearly listed

In addition to the multitude of dungeons, The Burning Crusade also brings new raids into the game, eight of them. For orientation of the difficulty level, you will find the item level and also the location in parentheses in each case:
  • Karazhan (115 - 125 / Mountain Pass of the Winds of the Dead, Eastern Kingdoms)
  • Zul'Aman (Ghost Lands, Eastern Kingdoms)
  • Magtheridon's Chamber (125 / Hellfire Peninsula)
  • Gruul's Lair (125 / Shear Ridge)
  • Snakeshrine's Lair (128 - 141 / Zangarmarchs)
  • Fortress of Storms (128 - 141 / Netherstorm)
  • Hyjal Peak (141 / Tanaris, Kalimdor)
  • The Black Temple (141 - 156 / Shadowmoon Valley)
  • Sunwell Plateau (141 - 164 / Isle of Quel'Danas, Eastern Kingdoms)
With the exception of the ten-player Karazhan raid, all other raids are 25-player. Most raids are located in Outland, although not exclusively. In this way, areas in the Old World also retain their relevance and the journey through TBC Classic takes place in very different locations. The raids will not all be available from the start, but will be unlocked in phases one after another, as explained here.
