• The Burning Crusade will be played on the existing Classic servers. Those who are active there can simply continue playing.
• In addition, special servers for the Classic era are coming: in these, time will remain at the Classic level forever. This is interesting for Classic fans who do not want to play The Burning Crusade.
• The system behind it remains the same in any case: Those who already own WoW and the expansion The Burning Crusade, only need a subscription to play.
• TBC Classic will be divided into five phases. In these, the content will be unlocked gradually.
• For Classic characters who are not yet at level 60, there will be a paid boost to level 58, so that they can then tackle the TBC content in Outland as quickly as possible.

An exact release date has not yet been set, apart from the fact that the expansion is still scheduled to go live in 2021.
